Alexander, Hereditary Prince of Hohenzollern (German: Alexander Friedrich Antonius Johannes Prinz von Hohenzollern;[1][2] born 16 March 1987 in New York City, United States[1][2]) is a member of the Princely House of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen.[1][2] Alexander is the eldest son[1][2] of Karl Friedrich, Prince of Hohenzollern and Countess Alexandra Schenck von Stauffenberg.,[1][2] and heir-apparent to the headship of the House of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen.

Alexander's father, Karl Friedrich, Prince von Hohenzollern (born 1952) married Alexandra Schenk Countess of Stauffenberg (born 1960). Together they have four children: Alexander, Philippa, Flaminia and Antonia. They were amicably divorced in January, 2010.[3]

Education

Alexander attended Oakham School, in England but left after taking his GCSEs. He attended Malvern College for a short period of time before leaving to continue his studies in the Institut auf dem Rosenberg. He likes to be out in nature and spending his time with his dogs. After spending time in Tibet, he started to train extreme mixed matrial arts. He also joined the German youth organisation "Junge Union" in 2010.
